I am always in danger of taking a creative project I love and am passionate about and turning it into a job that I suddenly resent and dread. I felt this happening with WTJ this week so I took a little break. I think it perhaps comes from making my living at something that is a part of my creative soul. I am eternally in search of balance. I did do this page though because it came spontaneously and was filled with laughter and joy.

Wonderful! Both the line, the video, the humor, and the fact that you honored yourself and didn't make the journal a job. Way to go.
I have a big smile on my face after watching that!
absolutely perfect music, speed, and the thought behind the project
BRAVOOOO~~~~~`!!!!!!
Kavindra has found the right words: big smile, the line, the tree, so wonderful!
Thank you for such lovely video of a non-stop line. Wish I could have come up with it! :)
I totally understood about turning one's beloved creative project into a job that one resent and dread. I'm the same and have been wondering if there's any way to overcome it!
Well, dear fellow creative, if you know of the way to get that balance, pls let me know. I'm in desperate need of it ... :)
Wahey - great stuff! Real fun there. I was wondering where it would end up!!!
Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm new to the world of blogging and have been trying to figure out protocol by watching other people's blogs. I feel like a whole new world has opened up to me and frankly my head is spinning with it all. So, I think the way to respond is to do it here on my comments - yes? So, thank you all. Thank you for visiting my blog & for your lovely, supportive comments. And thank you Hybrid J for letting me know that you sometimes have the same problem. Just knowing that someone as cool & creative as you experiences the same makes me feel a little better. Whoever "figures it out" first has to share with the other - pinky swear :) Love & Light to ALL!
Love your video.. wonderful way to break the boundary of the book in a whole other way. I'm in the same boat with you guys too. Having a job that requires your creative self to always be turned on does lead to burnout - so let me in on the secret to freedom whoever finds it first!!
WOW...what a great idea!!!
What is this Fabulousness!? :) I really enjoyed watching that snippet of creative juices.
Oh, gosh! Me - cool & creative!!?? You're so generous, Kim! And yes, you got yourself a deal - whoever figure it out will share with all! ;)
This sure is a long line. :)
The exuberant joy of the video is amazing! we're running with you through literal and symbolic light and shadow - a perfect metaphor for the creative journey, the speed, the shakiness, the constant moving forward towards a goal...love it love it love it!
Very cool video, and love the music and motion!
Brilliant! Amazing idea! Beautiful video!
Yay you for honouring your rhythms! What a beautiful dance we're in with this journal.
